Why is that so many companies will provide an employee with a reasonable salary package (Hopefully anyway!), a good PC and Desk, but yet when it comes to a chair it would appear the cheapest possible is often selected. Which nowadays means its come straight off the last container ship from Asia.!
The quality and functionality can often leave a lot to be desired and yet we often hear from clients that good chairs are just so expensive. Actually the "cheap" chairs are cheap because the components are "cheap". Is a decent chair expensive? " Not compared to your salary, your PC and even your desk". The prevention of muscoskeletal disorders and work absence is surely worth a little more than a cheap chair !
